Project Overview

Established in 1995, Dashen Bank is one of the largest and most pioneering private banks in Ethiopia. The Bank contracted Frankfurt School as a training provider for its board members, top and middle management. Through extensive collaboration, Frankfurt School has supported Dashen Bank in its transformation process and trained the Board of Directors (BoD) and managing staff to reach their full potential as leaders.

Frankfurt School designed and implemented a series of tailored training seminars for Dashen Bank at three professional levels:

The training programme targeted two layers of strategic management:

  1. Board of Director Trainings:
  • Corporate Governance and Strategic Management
  • Financial Analysis and Risk Management
  • HR Management

  1. Top and Middle Management Trainings:
  • Strategic Management and Marketing for Executive Management
  • Risk and HR Management for Executive Management
  • Internal Audit and Internal Control for Executive Management
  • Customer Relationship Management and Marketing for Executive Management
  • Leadership Training for Executive Management

Frankfurt School’s Senior Training Experts developed tailored training curricula and materials and delivered trainings in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia; Nairobi, Kenya; and in Frankfurt, Germany. Frankfurt School´s Project Management staff organised the local travel arrangements and logistics for participants.
