Kurdistan Region of Iraq (Erbil) – Special Entry Requirements

For participants traveling to Erbil (Kurdistan Region of Iraq, KRI), a visa on arrival is available, but pre-application online is required.

This means:

  1. You submit your details online before traveling (passport copy, personal data, purpose of visit) online here
  2. Upon approval, you receive an entry confirmation by email.
  3. On arrival at Erbil International Airport (EBL), the visa is stamped into your passport.
