Job description

Pre-MBA role: Project Manager at Daimler AG

Interview

Why did you choose the Full-time MBA at Frankfurt School?

I chose Frankfurt School because of its triple accreditation, high reputation, and its attractive location in the heart of Europe. The MBA programme was very appealing to me because of its variety of business and management lectures and the module abroad in Milan.

Curriculum: How is the academic quality of Frankfurt School? Which course have you enjoyed the most so far?

The academic quality definitely exceeds my expectations and I really enjoy that we gain knowledge across all relevant business and management fields. The professors also take time to answer individual questions. I especially enjoyed my electives track – technology.

Career Services: Which career services resources have you utilized and how have they supported you throughout the MBA? (i.e. career service events, company talks, career counselling etc.)

Frankfurt School offers plenty of opportunities and I really like the executive talks, the individual coaching, and the online workshops which helped me to grow personally and professionally. Furthermore, I participated in many events where I gained new perspectives and networked with other students, alumni and companies.

What is one highlight of the MBA programme so far?

One highlight for me is our MBA community. We are a highly diverse class, everyone has a different background, different experiences and we celebrate this valuable cultural exchange. For example, our Chinese fellow students invited us to celebrate the Chinese New Year together. Moreover, one fellow student and I were training for a marathon and had a great support team and many fellow runners.

What advice would you give to prospective students as they begin their Full-time MBA programme?

I highly recommend you participate actively, try new things and get out of your comfort zone. Besides lectures Frankfurt School offers plenty of skill courses throughout the year such as intercultural management, shaping ideas and (agile) project management. My overall MBA experience is the more effort you put in, the more you will get out of it. So, take on the challenge, be open-minded and have fun!
