Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is one of Europe’s leading business schools, accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. We invite applications for two full time positions as Postdoctoral Researcher in Behavioral Economics and/or Industrial Organization (f/m/x) starting September 1st, 2023.

The employment contract will have an initial duration of up to four years. The salary grade is based on TV-L E13. The recruited candidate will work together with Professors Andreas Grunewald, Heiko Karle and Markus Reisinger within the DFG research group “Consumer Preferences, Consumer Mistakes, and Firms’ Response”. This newly funded research group brings together researchers from various institutions to investigate theoretically and empirically how consumer mistakes shape market outcomes. The positions are research-focused and come with no or only a very light teaching load. The successful candidate should show great potential to conduct top quality research or should already have some publications in very good economics journals. Applications from both theoretical and empirical/experimental researchers are welcome.

We offer a stimulating research environment, including a research seminar series, a PhD program, generous research funding, and all the opportunities of a dynamic private business school. The city of Frankfurt is ranked 7th worldwide in the latest Mercer “Quality of Living“ Ranking.

The deadline for applications is 15.02.2023. Please submit your application including a cover letter that briefly describes your motivation for this position, a CV, and letters of recommendation from at least two references via interfolio (http://apply.interfolio.com/119737). Candidates who have not finalized their PhD yet are encouraged to submit three reference letters alongside the application.

Frankfurt School values diversity and seeks talented students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds. We explicitly encourage international applications; German language skills are not required within Frankfurt School. Frankfurt School is an equal-opportunities employer.
