Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic situation, we are forced to postpone the Climathon to spring 2021. We want to offer all participants the best possible experience and atmosphere in order to achieve relevant results. We consider it very unrealistic to host such an event completely online at short notice and to expect comparable results.
However, that is no reason for us to despair! We are still working on making the Climathon in Frankfurt take place soon!
Join the Climathon and be part of a 24h lasting challenge. The climate-ideathon is all about coming up with innovative solutions to current problems our society faces. You will be grouped into teams and located to one of our destinations: Frankfurt School, Tech-Quartier, SleevesUp or online of course.
As the event kicks-off you and your team will receive one of our three environmental cases. You now have 24h to brainstorm and set up a strategy to solve this local problem. At the end of the Climathon you will then present your solutions to a jury, which evaluates all your creative ideas.
To make sure everybody that signs up will actually attend there is a little fee but don’t worry in return we will provide you with delicious meals, snacks as well as drinks at the locations.
Register now and save your spot:
Take part and join a global community of thousands who want to act now, and rethink the city that we all live in and the future we want as citizens.
Think global, act local!
We are looking forward to meet you at the Climathon.
Disclaimer: Please note that we possibly have to switch the Climathon to a completely online event according to current local restrictions due to the pandemic. Updates will follow soon.
The event will be held in German, however we welcome any other language.
Who can participate?
Anyone living in or around Frankfurt that is at least 16 years of age or older.
Depending on the development of the current pandemic situation the event will be held in a hybrid version (partly in person, partly online) at our partner’s venues. However, we reserve the right to allow the event to take place exclusively online, if the situation gets worse.
