Frankfurt, 29.04.2020 12:00:00

On Saturday, April 25, 2020, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management hosted the first Online Bachelor Day. The online event provided prospective students information on the business school´s bachelor programmes. More than 330 potential students attended the online event. Through trial lectures guests got a first-hand impression about Frankfurt School’s programmes. Videos on financing possibilities, student services, career opportunities and semester abroad gave attendees insight into key aspects at FS. Live and pre-recorded sessions were available to view over the weekend, this offered attendees the flexibility and freedom to structure their day and watch sessions they may have missed.

After registering for the online event, attendees were greeted with a personal welcome speech from Professor Nils Stieglitz, president of Frankfurt School, and current student Lynn Cunningham. This set the tone for the online event and briefed viewers about the upcoming agenda.

Not only were a variety of videos available, chat rooms offered the advantage of connecting directly with potential students over the course of the day. Attendees had the chance to ‘join the class’, by asking questions in live-sessions. All pre-recorded videos also offered this approach, allowing viewers to connect directly to the corresponding contact person.

Cooperation partners also had the possibility to engage with the attendees and showcase their career benefits directly to the potential students.

Many of the Online Bachelor Day participants took part in the campus tour, offered as a pre-recorded video. Lynn Cunningham took online viewers on a virtual tour of Frankfurt School’s campus.

The Online Bachelor Day is still active

The next Bachelor Day will take place on November 7, 2020.
