The Finance Department of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management won one of two Foscolo top-up fellowships in this year's UniCredit Foundation competition. The UniCredit Foundation rated the Frankfurt School's Finance Department as one of the two best economics and finance departments in Europe. The 3-year scholarship enables Frankfurt School to recruit a talented junior professor for its Finance Department and thus expand its research and teaching activities.

In its sixth year, the UniCredit Foundation already awards two 3-year top-up fellowships to the best economics or finance departments in European universities. The Foscolo supplementary scholarship aims to support top departments in Europe in creating competitive conditions for talented doctoral students.

"We are very pleased to have won the Foscolo Fellowship grant. On one hand, it enables us to attract a top post-doctoral student to our department, and on the other, the award underlines the quality of our research and teaching at Frankfurt School," said Professor Tobias Berg, Professor of Finance and Head of the Finance Department at Frankfurt School.
