Frankfurt, 06.02.2020 12:00:00

On Thursday, 20 February, 2020, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management will host for FUTURY´s The Mission, an initiative for a sustainable future supported by Bain & Company, Deutsche Bank, GreenCycle and Handelsblatt.

The Mission´s project Banking – Be Green, one of twelve topics that address challenges for a sustainable future, is a three-month competition for entrepreneurs in the field of sustainable finance. Frankfurt School is supporting The Mission by hosting the teams of three to five entrepreneurs for the final round.

Experts from Frankfurt School and whoever else goes here will be on hand to answer questions and provide support to students.

Talents who want to make an impact can apply for the different topics online. Futury and its partners recruit the participants who have to be students and select the teams. Furthermore, Futury will support the teams financially.

“Frankfurt School is partnering with Futury´s The Mission because we are convinced that young talents should develop creative ideas when it comes to the planet´s future. For more sustainability the financial industry is key. Hence, green finance is an important topic at Frankfurt School and we are the right partner for this project”, says Dr Matthias Catón, Director Corporate Development at Frankfurt School.

“Moreover, entrepreneurship is very important to our business school. We are convinced that established companies and universities must support talents who develop creative ideas and aim to found their own start-ups. Otherwise, new companies which could impact a more sustainable society would fail”, emphasises Matthias Catón.
