Since the Corona crisis, the job market has been in a state of radical changes: "Future Alumni or Young Professionals are unsure in which industries they can still find a suitable position or whether the current job is secure", says BUSINESS INSIDER.

The editors also asked Karin Reuschenbach-Coutinho, Head of Career Services at Frankfurt School, for a statement. She still sees good career prospects for FS graduates; the overall situation is "not as dramatic as expected". Karin Reuschenbach-Coutinho and her team support graduates in all questions regarding their job entry. In addition, Career Services develop tailor-made formats for companies to get to know FS students and recruit them. She says: "We are not really seeing a decline in job opportunities, but, among our students, we are experiencing a great need to talk.” Students are individually coached, even intensively during the crisis. November 4: Career Day at Frankfurt School

"Since the strict lockdown has been lifted," reports Karin Reuschenbach-Coutinho, "companies from all sectors contact us as usual. They want to meet our students, which makes us happy and proud. Because it shows: Frankfurt School is a top university". In corporation with companies, Career Services offers digital recruiting formats such as workshops or case studies. Students enjoy attending them. According to Karin Reuschenbach-Coutinho, the advantages are obvious: "Digital formats are an excellent offer in these times. We don't have to pay attention to distance requirements. Students can take part from anywhere. Many companies have imposed travel restrictions on their employees, so that their physical participation from campus might be feasible, but would be very difficult. Thus, our Career Day will be an online event”.

Companies interested in presenting themselves and their vacancies at the Frankfurt School Career Day are cordially invited. Contact: k.reuschenbach-coutinho@fs.de
