On 23 November, Sanjay Brahmawar, CEO of Software AG and new member of Frankfurt School's Board of Trustees, shared his thoughts on "Reaching through the Digital Iron Curtain" in an online talk. He highlighted how East and West are drifting further apart technologically and how a "Digital Iron Curtain" is forming. After a keynote speech, Sanjay Brahmawar answered questions from the viewers.

He answered technical questions on digital transformation, the role of the European Union and Germany, as well as questions on careers and the skills FS graduates need for the employment market. Asked about the three success factors in his life, Brahmawar answered: "Be open and learn, be a good listener and have fun and passion in everything you do." The several hundred participants of the live event could clearly see Brahmawar's passion. This was also emphasised by moderator Angelika Werner, Vice President Strategic Relations: "In the last hour, we have experienced your enthusiasm. Thank you very much for sharing your industry knowledge as well as your personal experiences."
