Frankfurt School of Finance & Management welcomed 211 new MBA students in early October marking the start of the 2020/21 winter semester. 150 of the first-year students of the MBA in International Healthcare Management, the Executive MBA, the Part-time MBA and the Full-time MBA were warmly welcomed on campus in Frankfurt, another 61 via online admission.

The opening ceremony took place in the foyer of the campus. Of the 211 first semester students, 40 start in the International Healthcare Management MBA (IHM), 46 in the Executive MBA (EMBA), 80 in the Part-time MBA and 45 in the Full-time MBA. Professor Jörg Werner, Vice President Degree Programmes at Frankfurt School, welcomed the new students: "A very warm welcome to all our students. We are proud that you made the decision being with us at Frankfurt School and invite you to actively share your views and experiences."

Nora Klug, Group General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, encouraged the new students to look optimistically into the future, despite current uncertainties due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In her speech, Jessica Joy Morris, MBA Alumna, Class of 2019, gave insights into her time at the Frankfurt School and how this experience has shaped her. Before her studies at FS, in her role as a Senior Programme Director in Washington DC, she contributed innovative educational strategies to vulnerable groups. Now she is a Senior Consultant at OXYGY. She told the new MBA students: “Your time at Frankfurt School is going to change you in ways you never expected.” Further she said “As you become the best version of yourselves, you will also make the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management the best version of itself that it has ever been. And that, my friends, is something to be proud of.”

The students concluded the evening with an exclusive three-course meal and used the opportunity to make their first contacts at Frankfurt School.
