In the 2021 European Business School Ranking published today by the Financial Times, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management ranks 24th – up two places from 2020 and eight from 2019. This is the first time the business school ranks in Europe’s top 25. In Germany, Frankfurt School has consolidated its fourth place among its domestic rivals. Six German business schools are represented in the ranking, which includes 95 renowned universities from across Europe.

Professor Nils Stieglitz, President of Frankfurt School, said: “Frankfurt School’s Financial Times ranking result again is a strong proof that we deliver on our goals. We aspire to be a leading institution in our field and to skilfully translate our research excellence into impactful knowledge for practitioners. We touch on relevant topics for society and business in our academic programmes, be it digitalisation in all its forms, sustainability or regulation. By doing so, we provide our graduates across all educational programmes with the necessary qualifications to succeed.”

The annual European Business School Ranking is a composite ranking based on the combined performance of Europe’s leading schools across the five main rankings of programmes published by the FT in 2021 including the results of the FT rankings for MBA, Executive MBA, Master in Management and Executive Education. In addition to the income of graduates, it also evaluates aspects such as further education programmes, the proportion of female and male professors and the internationality of a faculty.
