In cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Frankfurt School of Finance & Management has developed a new advisory approach for sustainable finance policy. The approach will support governments in developing countries and emerging economies in strengthening and expanding sustainable finance. The project was commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Both partners have now presented their reports.

Building sustainable finance systems requires an integrated approach. The Sustainable Finance Policy Navigator offers a methodology to achieve the necessary regulatory framework for a structural transformation of the economic and financial system providing regulators and policymakers with a menu of actions.

For over a year, Frankfurt School and GIZ collected, aggregated and analysed data and practice approaches from international financial markets to develop a method that is tailored to developing and emerging economies while remaining flexible.

Frankfurt School and GIZ look forward to supporting public stakeholders in building sustainable financial systems. More information on the advisory approach and the report can be found here.
