ShanghaiRanking: FS is the best private Business School for Finance in Germany

Frankfurt School ranks third among German universities in the annual ShanghaiRanking World University Ranking for Finance. This means that Frankfurt School is the best private business school for finance in a Germany-wide comparison. The school also ranks among the top universities in Germany in the rankings for the subjects of Economics and Management.

Since 2017, ShanghaiRanking has published its "Global Ranking of Academic Subjects", ranking the best universities for a total of 54 subjects from the fields of natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medicine and social sciences. ShanghaiRanking evaluates more than 4,000 universities from 93 countries and regions. The evaluation focuses on research output, research impact, international collaborations, research quality and international academic awards.

Top positions in rankings

In May, Frankfurt School came fifth in the Wirtschaftswoche university ranking of all German universities for business administration, making it the best private business university for business administration in Germany. Frankfurt School also achieved top positions in the CHE 2020/2021 ranking for Bachelor's and Master's programmes in German-speaking countries: In the Bachelor's programmes, Frankfurt School achieved excellent ratings in eleven out of twelve categories; in the Master's programmes in business administration, the school achieved top ratings in seven out of eight categories. The business magazine FOCUS-Business awarded the Frankfurt School's executive education programme for 2021, making the business school one of the top 50 universities with an executive education centre in the German-speaking world.
