Shaping alumni engagement together, making membership more attractive, strengthening the Frankfurt School community by joining forces – these are the topics that Frankfurt School and its alumni association, FS Alumni e.V., want to implement from 1 January 2022. At a ceremony on Friday, 5 November 2021, the partners signed the cooperation agreement.

"We are pleased, in the interest of all graduates, to now work even more closely with Frankfurt School and to jointly shape alumni work. In doing so, the association has a lighthouse function", emphasised Jens Schweinebraden, Chairman of the Board of FS Alumni e.V.. "From the very beginning, FS Alumni e.V. has provided significant support to Frankfurt School and our students and strengthened our community. With the cooperation agreement, we are moving even closer together", explains Frankfurt School President Professor Dr. Nils Stieglitz.

With the cooperation agreement, the association and Frankfurt School are pooling resources and expertise. The Frankfurt School Alumni Relations Team will organize all activities, the honorary board of the association concentrates more on its interface and networking function between Frankfurt School and graduates aiming at strengthening the membership of the association and providing beneficial offers to association members all over the world.

"FS Alumni e.V. enables and promotes contact between graduates and their exchange with students and professors. By doing so, we promote and strengthen the common Frankfurt School spirit. This cooperation agreement supports us in all these goals", says Hendrik Pelckmann, member of the board of FS Alumni e.V.. He continues: "The cooperation can make our network even more sustainable for the future, internationalise our alumni association, and strengthen our digitalisation efforts. Together with Frankfurt School, we will further develop offers for alumni and students and continuously make membership more attractive."

"Networks with business and society are crucial for the development of Frankfurt School. Alumni play a central role in this. They are authentic ambassadors of our business university", says Angelika Werner, Vice President Strategic Relations at Frankfurt School. Together with her team, she got the cooperation agreement off the ground. "It's great that we are putting the association and membership at the centre of alumni relations. My thanks go to the entire association board, the members as well as my team. I am looking forward to the time ahead of us."
