Frankfurt am Main, 03.11.2021 12:00:00

For the last ten years, Frankfurt School alumni, friends and FS community members have given generously of their time and resources to help Frankfurt School students – and will be doing so once again in our anniversary year, 2021/22. Thanks to this generous support, Frankfurt School will be awarding 53 Deutschlandstipendium scholarships this year. The scholarship programme provides scholarship holders with a monthly allowance of EUR 300 over a 12-month period. Frankfurt School and its benefactors are committed to supporting as many students from Germany and abroad as possible – especially when times are hard.

Frankfurt School has participated successfully in the Deutschlandstipendium programme since it was first set up in 2011. Every euro donated to Frankfurt School is match-funded by the federal government. In addition to good academic performance, the programme’s selection criteria also take candidates’ voluntary commitments into consideration.

Longstanding and new benefactors and benefactory organisations

The FS Alumni Association has once again taken the lead by funding a total of 15 Deutschlandstipendium scholarships; the association has been supporting scholarships since the programme first started. “We enjoy building close relationships with our scholarship holders and offering them a well-developed network capable of giving them advice and support as well as purely financial assistance,” observed Jens Schweinebraden, who chairs the Board of Directors of Frankfurt School Alumni e.V.

Typically generous commitments were also made by Berlin Hyp AG, Deutsche Vermögensberatung, the DZ BANK Foundation, Emma Sleep GmbH, Frankfurter Sparkasse, Frankfurter Volksbank eG, ING-DiBa AG, the Marga Coing Foundation, Nassauische Sparkasse, Sparda Bank Hessen eG, Union Investment, Dr Michael Kemmer, Dr Horst Müller, Rainer Neske and Dr Matthias Zieschang.

Once again, we were able to bring many other alumni on board for the 2021/22 academic year, including Oliver Bader, Andy Hamer, Jörg Hessenmüller, Christian Hofäcker, Matthias Holfeld, Gloria and Michael Pfaue, the Kopp family, the Krauthäuser family, Julian Keuerleber, Fabian Muselmann and Heidi Overwien.
