FS illuminated in orange: Shine a light on violence against women and girls

Physical or sexual violence is part of women's everyday experience in many places. On 25 November, the United Nations once again drew attention to this global problem with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Actions were held worldwide, now in its fourth year, also in Frankfurt.

Frankfurt School organised the actions together with its partner MedienReich! Gesellschaft für professionelle Eventtechnik: from 5 pm, the Präsidialbau was lit up orange. More than 30 buildings took part, including Frankfurt School, the Old Opera House, the Historical Museum, St Paul's Church and the ECB. The actions in Frankfurt were carried out by the Women's Department in cooperation with two Frankfurt Zonta Clubs and the Soroptimists.
