Frankfurt am Main, 29.08.2022 12:00:00

Frankfurt School is welcoming 474 new Bachelor of Science students at the start of the new academic year – 47 more than in the previous year. The business school remains on a growth path in its three Bachelor of Science programmes: the Bachelor in Business Administration, the Bachelor in Computational Business Analytics and the Bachelor in Management, Philosophy & Economics.

At the Opening Ceremony on 27 August on the Frankfurt campus Frankfurt School President and CEO Professor Nils Stieglitz was the first to greet the new cohort. He was followed by FS alumnus Claes Christiansen, Managing Director at Check24, who gave some advice to the new students: “Go positive and go first and be constant in doing it. Apply this when you meet new people during the next few hours, months and years at FS by approaching them first with a positive attitude.” Claes Christiansen graduated from Frankfurt School in 2011, subsequently joining Nomura and McKinsey, before starting at Check24 in 2020.

Johannes Hauenschild, currently studying for his Bachelor of Science degree at Frankfurt School, welcomed the new students to the FS Community: “Enjoy your time at Frankfurt School, get involved in our vibrant community, challenge yourself, trust yourself and your peers that you will make it and enjoy the most memorable years of your studies!” As FS Spirit Award winner 2022, student council speaker and head of the student initiative FS Rowing, Johannes Hauenschild is exceptionally committed to the FS Community.

The Opening Ceremony concluded with an outdoor get-together including drinks and five food stalls offering specialities from different regions across the world. Two music duos contributed to a relaxed atmosphere.
