High tech working space and digitalisation

Frankfurt am Main, 04.03.2022 12:00:00

The Frankfurt School Centre for Performance Management & Controlling (CPMC), founded in autumn 2020 and opened in May 2021, has quickly become a permanent fixture in the controlling / management accounting community.

The CPMC sees itself as a think tank and central point of contact for companies from different sectors. Its fundamental and applied research is geared towards current issues, such as digitalization in management accounting, supply chain controlling or cost management in times of crisis. On the latter topic, the CPMC has conducted a highly regarded pan-European study in cooperation with researchers from other universities.

Many companies from various sectors are also carrying out projects together with the CPMC or are involved in working groups. Professor Ronald Gleich, Academic Director of the CPMC and Professor of Management Practice & Control at Frankfurt School: "Our project and cooperation partners such as Consors Bank, Hays, HDI, Henkel Freixenet and Struktur Management Partner play a very special and decisive role for us. Together with them, we do research on current practical problems and develop innovative solutions. We conduct studies and organize joint events. We also involve them as experts in our teaching and executive education programmes."

The CPMC also has a special relationship with the International Controller Association (ICV). As a cooperation partner, the association has brought a pan-European network of practicioners for controlling / management accounting into our cooperation.

Much-attended networking events

Professor Matthias Mahlendorf, Academic Director of the CPMC and Professor of Managerial Accounting at Frankfurt School: "We are particularly proud of our much-attended networking events, such as our annual conference Performance Management & Controlling 2.0 in cooperation with Frankfurt School’s publishing house and our Controlling & Performance Management Dialogues, taking place twice a year, with the next dialogue scheduled for 16 March 2022."
