More than a quarter of a million people have fled Ukraine and arrived in Germany, many students among them. Some of those have contacted Frankfurt School and hope to continue their studies at FS. Tuition waivers and scholarships have been made available and to finance living costs for suitable candidates FS has created the Hardship Fund. The fund has received a remarkable kickstart from the FS Alumni e.V. with their donation of 10,000 euro.

On behalf of the associations’s board Shari Wolf represents the FS Alumni e.V. and its more than 3,000 members. “We want to support students. Especially in these difficult times, we as an association and a community can contribute. With the Hardship Fund, Frankfurt School has launched a great initiative at the right time.”

Frankfurt School President and CEO, Professor Nils Stieglitz thanks FS Alumni e.V.: “This generous donation from FS Alumni e.V. to the Hardship Fund highlights the importance of our Alumni in building and growing the FS Community and showcasing our values. I thank the FS Alumni e.V. and all our donors. The FS Hardship Fund is a step in the right direction and I am proud to see the FS Community steadfastly making this step.”
