On 7 March 2022, Frankfurt School welcomed the first cohort to the new Part-time Master of Finance at its Hamburg Campus. The Master of Finance was the first Master's degree offered by Frankfurt School and to this day, it remains the largest of our master programmes. For the first time, FS is now offering it as a part-time programme at the Hamburg Campus.
On behalf of Programme Manager Vera Schenderlein, Programme Manager Diane Morrison officially opened the first block week and welcomed the new students to Hamburg's HafenCity. The students spent the morning getting to know the Student and Alumni Services and the FS Learning Centre as well as making first contacts among themselves.
As a business location, the Hanseatic city has an important position in Germany. Following the successful launch of the Part-time MBA in October 2020, Frankfurt School is further expanding its range of courses at the Hamburg campus with the Part-time Master of Finance. With an international and practical approach, the programme is taught in English and is fully compatible with full-time employment. Slightly different from the programme offered in Frankfurt, lectures in Hamburg will be held in block weeks. Students will have access to high-profile practitioners from the corporate world and to an extensive network of cooperating companies, universities and alumni worldwide. The programme runs for twenty months and is worth 75 ECTS. You find more information here.
