In the ranking for custom-made programmes, FS has moved up 15 places to 61st (2020: 76; 2019: 69; 2018: 80). Among German universities, it is ranked 4th. In the category of open executive education programmes, FS ranks 57th worldwide (2020: 50; 2019: 61; 2018: 72) and 3rd among its German peers. The FT's executive education ranking is based on numerous criteria, such as the diversity and internationality of the university and the number and quality of partner schools, as well as on evaluations by participants and companies.

Frankfurt School’s Executive Education department offers programmes for professionals across all industry sectors. Digitalisation and the accelerating pace of change in the world are playing an increasingly important role. For example, the new Advanced Management Programme is designed to get managers fit for change, and the Quantum Machine Learning for Business programme launched in April 2022 teaches the skills to recognise new market potential for quantum machine learning algorithms and to develop corresponding business models.

Very good ranking results

The Financial Times Executive Education Ranking is already the fourth ranking in which Frankfurt School has done very well this year. Only recently, FS emerged as the best university in Germany and continental Europe in the Times Higher Education Digital Leaders in Higher Education Ranking and was ranked 12th worldwide. In April 2020, Frankfurt School achieved 4th place in the business administration ranking in the annual university ranking of Wirtschaftswoche, making it the best private business school in Germany. In March 2022, Manager Magazin repeatedly named Frankfurt School the best university for auditors.
