Student Accommodation at Frankfurt School

Campus II is almost finished. Already now you can experience how the student apartments will look like. From 1^st October, they will be ready for Frankfurt School students to move into! Overall, Campus II (including serviced apartments, restaurant, gym, etc.) will be completed in summer 2024.

On Tuesday, 21 March, a Frankfurt School team including Professor Dr. Nils Stieglitz, President and CEO, Chancellor Karolina Kristic, Angelika Werner, Vice President Strategic Relations, Lisa Ronneburger, Director of Student and Alumni Affairs, and Director of Construction Klaus Ringsleben came to see for themselves how things are progressing. The first completely finished apartments were inspected. They are quite impressive. Floor-to-ceiling windows let plenty of light into the rooms, while timeless and modern furniture ensure optimal use of space. A special eye-catcher: murals with living plants on the walls. The preserved plants require neither water nor care and complete the combination of feel-good atmosphere and design.

"Campus II is perfectly tailored to the needs of our students. Everything is brought together: living, learning and leisure activities," says Karolina Kristic, Chancellor and CFO of FS. Lisa Ronneburger adds, "Starting in autumn, we will be able to offer student housing on campus again, something that the new international students in particular are very much looking forward to. The Frankfurt housing market remains tight. Our offer makes their start in the Main metropolis immensely easier."

Campus II is located right next to Frankfurt School and offers many places for joint activities. Parties can be held on the roof terrace with a view of the skyline; there is a cinema room, a beach volleyball court, as well as a gym and learning lounges. An underground garage with parking spaces for cars and bicycles completes Campus II.

The initiator of Campus II is Frankfurt School, and the project is being implemented and operated by the real estate developer i Live Group GmbH and the investor Commerz Real AG. All parties involved are very satisfied with the progress of the project. "The cooperation is going great!", says Jörg Kraft from Commerz Real during the walk-through. "Despite all the crises that took place during the construction phase, we had no problems with the supply chains and were able to keep to our schedule."

Leandro Criscione, Managing Director at i Live, is also positive: "The whole team had a common goal in mind. That's why, even in phases of tough negotiations, we always acted constructively and goal-oriented to find solutions in partnership."

The energy-efficient building with photovoltaic system will relieve the tight housing market for students in Frankfurt. A total of 1,158 apartments are available, one third of which are exclusively for Frankfurt School. 137 serviced apartments, a restaurant, a cabaret stage and co-working spaces are also offered.
