MBA Kinshasa 2023 1266x321

Frankfurt am Main, 27.02.2023 12:00:00

After a two-year break due to Covid, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management resumed its MBA for Executives in Kinshasa in February 2023. This year, 28 participants started the 18-month part-time programme. The students come from the banking, consulting, public service, telecommunications and energy sectors and are employed in middle or senior management.

Professor Erich Barthel, Academic Director of the MBA for Executives in Kinshasa and Professor of Corporate Culture and Leadership, opened the programme. The guest speaker was Jean-Claude Tshipama, Deputy CEO of Equity BCDC, who spoke on the topic of “Challenges that leaders face”. Afterwards, a welcome reception at the Pullman Hotel in Kinshasa with Verena Kacem, Cultural Attachée at the German Embassy, provided an opportunity for exchange.

The MBA for Executives in Kinshasa is aimed at executives who want to deepen their management know-how, optimise their leadership skills and expand their network. The programme enables participants to acquire competencies on an international level without having to leave their country or interrupt their work. Frankfurt School professors fly to the Democratic Republic of Congo for on-site teaching. In the second semester, the students come to the Frankfurt campus for a two-week stay. Lectures take place on extended weekends at the Pullman Hotel Kinshasa and the Université Protestante au Congo, Frankfurt School's partner.
