Frankfurt School thanks its highly committed students

Last Friday, Frankfurt School hosted its traditional annual President's Reception, an evening event recognising all students who have shown exceptional commitment to the university community, for example by participating in competitions, organising student events and initiatives or supporting other students. In doing so, they embody the FS Spirit, strengthen the FS Community, inspire fellow students and act as role models.

Professor Nils Stieglitz, President and CEO of Frankfurt School, welcomed more than 100 students from the Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich campuses to the Zoulou Bar in downtown Frankfurt: “This event is a true showcase of our vibrant community. I am proud to see such a diverse group of individuals here and I want to thank you all for your extraordinary dedication to Frankfurt School.”

In recognition of their exceptional engagement, he presented two students with the FS Spirit Award, which has become a very important distinction for those who serve the most as role models for their fellow students and inspire the Frankfurt School community. FS students and staff nominated 20 students from various programmes for the award. The winners are Lea Kutschera, Master in Management, Class of 2023, and Sachin Baid, Master in Management, Class of 2024 – congratulations! Both are representing the FS Spirit in an outstanding way. Lea Kutschera, to name just a few aspects of her commitment, moderated student events as a member of  the student initiative FS Economy & Politics and, as head of FS Model United Nations, organised trips to the MUN conference in New York. She was also a tutor and co-speaker of the Student Council. Sachin Baid helps international students to settle in Frankfurt and supports with organisational issues. He is also a member of the Student Council and part of the team organising this year's TEDxFS event.

After the award ceremony, a flying buffet and drinks invited to an exchange in a relaxed atmosphere.
