Frankfurt am Main, 20.11.2023 12:00:00

Following last year's success, Frankfurt School's annual Career Days were once again held over two days: on 7 November on campus in Frankfurt and on 8 November virtually. In addition, the FS Career Days were expanded to include the new format "FS (Find and Secure) Your Future".

The career fair kicked off on Tuesday, 7 November. More than 1,600 students registered for the on-site event to get to know representatives from various companies and talk to them. Equally impressive is the number and names of the companies who were keen to get in touch with Frankfurt School students and alumni. Around 425 representatives from 78 selected companies from various sectors, ranging from the financial sector and consulting firms to IT service providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers and the fashion industry, were in attendance. Roche, Uniqlo, Infosys and Procter & Gamble, for example, set up their information stands in the FS foyer. The spectrum of companies represented ranged from global players such as Barclays and McKinsey to regional family businesses such as Henkell Freixenet.

The large number of visitors shows that the FS Career Days have firmly established themselves as an important career fair in the Rhine-Main region.

The next day continued with a special highlight this year: the new format "FS (Find and Secure) Your Future". Nine FS alumni spoke to students in three sessions about their career paths, their everyday working lives and gave useful tips on choosing a career and the application process. A total of 400 FS students took the opportunity to learn from the alumni's personal experiences and ask their own questions.

This was followed by the virtual version of the Career Day on 8 November, where a total of 1,390 online sessions were offered to almost 900 students. Students and alumni were also able to search for job vacancies via the virtual platform and apply directly. Recruiters had the opportunity to contact candidates they were interested in via a private chat and then start a conversation. The CV database, company profiles and job exchange are still available to companies and students.

The Career Services team supported both the on-site event and the virtual fair and was always available to answer students' questions.

Once again, the FS Career Days proved to be beneficial for both sides — for students who want to find out where their professional future could take them and for companies looking for young talent.
