In November, Frankfurt School bid farewell to 575 graduates. The Alte Oper Frankfurt and the broadcasting hall of the Hessian public broadcasting station “Hessischer Rundfunk”, located in the immediate vicinity of Frankfurt School, provided the dignified atmosphere for the Graduation Ceremonies. Both locations offered the students the perfect setting to celebrate their farewells together with family and friends.

On 11 November, 92 graduates of the post-experience programmes Master in Auditing, Master of Financial Law, Master of Mergers & Acquisitions and Master in Corporate Performance & Restructuring celebrated their graduation in the broadcasting hall of Hessischer Rundfunk. Thomas Schmidt, COO Western Europe at Linklaters and Frankfurt School Executive MBA alumnus, delivered the laudatory speech, and Professor Nils Stieglitz, President and CEO of Frankfurt School, took the opportunity to personally congratulate all graduates. Following a good tradition, selected students also shared their thoughts in short speeches. The common tenor: An essential aspect of Frankfurt School are the valuable personal relationships, friendships and networks established during their time at the business school. In keeping with this, Lisa Ronneburger, Director of Student & Alumni Affairs, invited all graduates to remain loyal to the Frankfurt School Community and join the alumni association.

On 25 November, 293 graduates of the Master of Finance and the Master in Management celebrated their farewell at the Alte Oper Frankfurt. Later that day, 190 graduates of the Master in Applied Data Science, the Online Master of Leadership in Sustainable Finance, the Master in Data Analytics & Management and the Full-time and Part-time MBA programmes were bid farewell. Frankfurt School once again welcomed long-standing partners as guests at its Graduation Ceremonies: Frankfurt School alumni Eva-Maria Strube, Partner at the Boston Consulting Group, and Michael Riedl, CEO of the Team Internet Group, were among the speakers. Other speakers on the day included Professor Nils Stiglitz and selected students.

Awards for outstanding academic achievements

The Graduation Ceremonies once again provided the setting for the presentation of the awards for outstanding academic achievements. The winners of the IFK Awards, presented by Sarah Schmidtke, Managing Director of the “Interessengemeinschaft Frankfurter Kreditinstitute” IFK, were Marlene Kohlhaas, Paul Riexinger and Tim Braams. The FIRM Awards, presented by Dr Carsten Lehr, Managing Director of the Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation FIRM, went to Polina Shcherban, Kaustavdibya Phukan and Yuwei Xiang. In addition, Professor Claus Rerup presented the Frankfurt School Awards for Academic Excellence to the best student of each programme.
