Frankfurt am Main, 06.10.2023 12:00:00

The Campus V consortium, with Frankfurt School being a member, welcomes the decision of the Frankfurt City Council on 28 September 2023 regarding the use of the northern plot on the corner of Adickesallee and Eckenheimer Landstrasse until 2052. This marks an important milestone for the Campus V project.

Campus V is the joint learning and research centre of the German National Library, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (UAS), with the V standing for “Verantwortung” – German for responsibility. In the long term, the site is intended as an extension to the German National Library.

The centre will primarily focus on sustainability issues (green finance, among others) as well as social entrepreneurship and social innovation. The new building will be located at the centre of the Campus Mile in Frankfurt. The Campus Mile pursues the long-term goal of connecting the higher education institutions along the northern “Alleenring” (ring of avenues) in Frankfurt, as well as reorganising the urban planning and infrastructure conditions on site.

The contractual partners are confident that they will be able to sign the corresponding ground lease in October. This is largely dependent on a final commitment from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
