Background

Only a year ago, Sadia Wern-Sukhera founded Vertevis Capital Partners – working on her own from home. Within eight months, she built a team of 15 people and had begun fundraising with an Article 9 Fund of 200 million euro. The team has already raised 50 million euro for their co-investment vehicle in six months and intend to close a further 100 million by the end of the year. Their aim: to have their first fund-closing (of a cool 100 million) by mid-2024.

For an emerging manager in January 2023, with a goal of “only” 200 million euro for her first fund – to end up with a closing of 350 million euro within two or three years on two different fronts is a staggering achievement! Vertevis promotes an impact-focused mindset by investing in companies whose ideas, products or services that improve – the environment or climate.

On 21 November, Sadia Wern-Sukhera, CEO and Founder, Vertevis Capital Partners, will share the motivation behind Vertevis Capital Partners and the goals she is pursuing with it. She will also speak about her career, lessons learnt and her belief in the power of networks.
