Frankfurt am Main, 26.09.2023 12:00:00

Frankfurt School is pleased to welcome 165 new students to its MBA programmes at the start of the winter semester. 33 are starting in the Full-time MBA, 41 in the Executive MBA (EMBA), 37 are beginning their studies in the MBA in International Healthcare Management and 54 students are starting in the Part-time MBA at the Frankfurt School locations in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.

The traditional opening ceremony took place on the Frankfurt campus on 22 September. Frankfurt School President and CEO Professor Nils Stieglitz welcomed the new MBA students. Afterwards, FS alumnus Daniel Seiler gave the new MBA cohort his career tips: “I want to tell you three things that I think you can do to have a great and fulfilling career. The first I call people over package – who you work with is more important than what you work on. The second is to follow your curiosity. And the third one is: Just try it! Career cannot be planned. Career is an adventure. Doing an MBA is part of it – I am extremely glad and grateful for the learning experience I had here at Frankfurt School.” Daniel Seiler is CEO and shareholder of AT Automation Technology and completed his EMBA at Frankfurt School.

Following his speech, the new MBA students practised not only drumming but above all being in dialogue with each other during a performance of Drum Conversation, sensing the spirit of the FS community for the first time. Before the students rounded off the evening with a dinner and made their first Frankfurt School contacts, Dr Jennifer Franke, Frankfurt School alumna in the MBA in International Healthcare Management, and Business Manager at Philips, explained her recipe for successful career development in her keynote speech. Closing her speech, she gave the new students the following advice: “Treasure this unique opportunity at Frankfurt School. Seize opportunity wherever it finds you, like a surfer riding waves.”
