The Frankfurt School Blockchain Center (FSBC) hosted the Crypto Assets Conference (CAC24A) on 16 April as a hybrid event at Frankfurt School. Since 2018, the conference has been bringing together industry specialists, corporate visionaries and innovative entrepreneurs. At the 10th edition of the Crypto Assets Conference, over 400 participants on site and more than 2,000 online participants explored the latest trends in DLT, blockchain and crypto assets.

Prof Dr Ansgar Richter, Vice President Academic Affairs at Frankfurt School, and Dr Jonas Groß, Chairman of the Digital Euro Association, welcomed the participants in an opening speech. They took this opportunity to remember Prof Philipp Sandner, who founded the FS Blockchain Centre and initiated the conference.

For the first time, the event took place on two stages: the Main Stage and the Exploration Stage. Participants could choose between two parallel sessions depending on their interests. In addition to the panel discussions, keynotes and presentations, the conference partners offered a variety of workshops.

The first part of the CAC24A consisted of three thematic blocks: (1) Regulatory framework in Europe, (2) Infrastructure for tokens and digital securities and (3) Blockchain in the changing financial markets. Top-class speakers shared insights from surveys, use cases and their day-to-day work with attendees.

The lunch break and the time between sessions offered the participants the opportunity to expand their network and get in contact with like-minded experts.

The second part of the CAC24A continued with two blocks on the topics of (4) Digital Assets — From Issuance to Settlement and (5) Tokenised Funds and On-Chain Asset Management. The end of the day was marked by two breakout sessions. Participants could choose between "Investing in Bitcoin & Crypto Assets" and "Asset Management, Tokenisation & Real World Assets (RWA)".

Once again, the conference provided a platform to highlight the latest innovations and emerging industry trends through exciting talks, interactive discussions and presentations from industry thought leaders.

The FSBC team is very pleased with the success of the conference and would like to thank everyone who made it possible.
