Frankfurt am Main, 25.04.2024 12:00:00

The Master in Auditing (MSc), which has been successfully run in cooperation with the Mainz University of Applied Sciences since 2012, was awarded the FIBAA Premium seal on 22 April as part of the re-accreditation process. This is only awarded to a small number of degree programmes that demonstrate excellence in quality and teaching.

Diane Freiberger, Managing Director of FIBAA: “Different educational biographies also require an adaptation of the educational landscape. Frankfurt School of Finance & Management has succeeded in offering students excellent quality with its Master's degree programme in Auditing, coupled with professional certification as an auditor. For this, you received the well-deserved FIBAA premium seal for accreditation.”

Prof Dr Christian Landau, Vice President Degree Programmes, says about the award: “I am delighted that with the re-accreditation of the Master in Auditing, we have a programme in our portfolio that has been accredited with the FIBAA Premium label for the first time. This underlines the continuous improvement and excellence of Frankfurt School.”

Claudia Bieber, Associate Dean for Accreditation & Corporate Excellence, adds: “An outstanding result for the Master in Auditing, which reflects Frankfurt School's and FIBAA's shared commitment to excellence.”

“After Frankfurt School was awarded the best university for auditors in Germany for the third time in a row by manager magazin in March, FIBAA's premium seal is a further distinction and great honour. This success has only been possible thanks to a very trusting cooperation with Mainz University of Applied Sciences over several years, the outstanding lecturers who ensure the very high quality of teaching on the course through their commitment and the team who actively supported the re-accreditation,” says Prof Dr Edgar Löw, Programme Director for the Master in Auditing.

The Master in Auditing programme is part of the AuditXcellence initiative and is aimed at employees of auditing firms. This professionally integrated degree programme is specifically geared towards the requirements of Section 8a of the German Auditors' Code (WPO).
