Frankfurt School of Finance & Management hosted a remarkable evening of international dialogue, when the 42nd Annual Turkish Banking Evening took place on 30 September. For the first time, the renowned business school opened its doors to this flagship event, co-organised by Turkish financial institutions and Frankfurt School Forum.

The Turkish Banking Evening highlighted the international role of Turkish banks and provided a high-level platform for dialogue between Türkiye, Germany, and the broader European and international financial community. The event underscored Türkiye’s economic resilience, investment opportunities, and the strengthening of international financial cooperation.

Speakers included H.E. Gökhan Turan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Germany, alongside senior representatives from central banks, academia, and the private banking sector. Topics ranged from geopolitical conflicts and global financial risks to the future of digital currencies, with particular emphasis on resilience and adaptation in global markets.

Following insightful speeches and panel discussions, the conference concluded with a lively networking reception. More than 400 leading members of the banking and finance community seized the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas.

The evening was made possible through the support of its initiators: Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, Akbank, DenizBank, Garanti BBVA, Isbank, KT Bank, OYAK, VakıfBank, Yapı Kredi, and Ziraat Bankası
