ESG-Ratings haben im Einklang mit der Zunahme von nachhaltigen oder ESG-Investitionen an Bedeutung gewonnen. Während ESG-Ratings die Qualität von Investitionsentscheidungen verbessern und Anreize für Unternehmen schaffen können, ihre ESG-Profile zu verbessern, werden verschiedene Ansichten hinsichtlich ihres Einflusses und ihrer Qualität vertreten. 

Daher widmet das neu gegründete Corporate Governance Institute der Frankfurt School of Finance & Management seine erste jährliche Konferenz diesem Thema. Ziel ist es, neue Einblicke in ESG-Ratings zu geben, indem Erkenntnisse aus der aktuellen Forschung mit den Erfahrungen von führenden Vertreter*innen der Praxis ausgetauscht werden.
