Frederik Schwerter is Associate Professor of Microeconomics at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Before he joined Frankfurt School in Septmeber 2021, he was an assistant professor at the University of Cologne and a postdoc at Harvard University (Department of Economics). He received his PhD from the Bonn Graduate School of Economics. Before that, he studied economics at the University of Bonn. During his dissertation, he was a visiting scholar at Harvard University and the Norwegian School of Economics.
His research focuses on the experimental study of bounded rationality. His research has been published in journals such as The Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, und Psychological Review.
