Dear FS community,
Due to the Corona pandemic, we have only offered online courses for our students over the last few months. This has worked well and we have received a lot of positive feedback from students and staff. We would like to express our warmest thanks to all those who have contributed to this.
We monitor closely how the situation is developing and take the necessary protective measures. We follow recommendations and instructions of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art (HMWK) and the Robert Koch Institute. Our central aim remains to offer you an excellent and safe study experience at the Frankfurt School.
A lot has happened in the past weeks. Bit by bit, taking all precautions, we are returning to a campus life with face-to-face interaction. Now it is time to look forward to the new semester, beginning for most study programmes on September 1, 2020. We look forward to welcoming first-year students into Bachelor's and Master's programmes, guest students from around the world, and to welcoming back students in higher semesters.
Planning for students on campus in Frankfurt
For the coming semester, we offer students studying at the campus in Frankfurt a two-pronged model: offering students the choice as to whether they study online or on campus.
In-person study is possible due to our stringent distance and hygiene measures for the campus. As part of these measures, we have removed chairs from lecture halls allowing students to take classes while maintaining a healthy distance. With this model, we have to plan our room capacities differently. We, therefore, ask all students to decide in advance which courses and modules they would like to take online or on campus. Students will receive all details by e-mail.
We take it seriously when students prefer not to come to campus. Travel restrictions or visa issues can also prevent you from being back in time for the start of the lecture period. Therefore, it will still be possible to attend courses online.
Advice and support – digital and on campus
Students and alumni can use our services such as study support, career services and alumni relations, and expect our usual high standards. We are planning exciting online and on-campus activities, for example:
We thank the entire FS community for their understanding, trust and fantastic cooperation during this time.
The whole team at the Frankfurt School looks forward to seeing you in person soon.
Best regards from the FS Campus
