Sanjay Brahmawar joins FS’s board of trustees

Sanjay Brahmawar (50), CEO of Software AG, joins Frankfurt School of Finance & Management as the latest member of the Board of Trustees. He regularly speaks to students, graduates and academics at Frankfurt School on current challenges such as blockchain, machine learning or the "digital iron curtain". Today, Sanjay Brahmawar attended the meeting of the Board of Trustees for the first time.

"He is an executive who holds a MBA and brings a broad array of professional and life experience from different cultures. As CEO of Software AG, he is at the forefront of shaping digitisation. Now he will enrich Frankfurt School with his personal and professional experience from various industries. I would like to thank Sanjay for his commitment to our business school. About the Frankfurt School Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees monitors and advises Frankfurt School’s management. It currently comprises eleven members and meets twice a year. It is chaired by Rainer Neske (Chairman of the Board of Management of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg); honorary chairmanship is held by Prof Klaus-Peter Müller (Honorary Chairman of the Board of the Commerzbank Foundation, Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Commerzbank AG). About Sanjay Brahmawar

Sanjay Brahamwar has been Chief Executive Officer of Software AG since August 2018. Previously, he was Managing Director at IBM Watson Internet of Things in Munich and Managing Director of IBM Consulting Services in London. Sanjay Brahmawar studied engineering and business administration and has lived and worked in England, Holland, Belgium, Finland and India. He currently lives in Darmstadt, Germany.
