The Master of Finance programme (MSc) of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is ranked 31st in the latest Financial Times (FT) "Global Masters in Finance Pre-Experience" ranking, enabling the business school to improve its position in the global benchmark (2020: 32nd place). Frankfurt School has particularly improved in the Female Students category, which compares the percentage of women in university programmes: rising from 51st to 29th place over the year. Frankfurt School also strengthened its positions in the Salary Today and Salary Percentage Increase categories, which measure the average income and increase in salary three years after graduation. Together, the categories account for 30 per cent of the rating. The business school also advanced strongly in the Employed at Three Months category. 90 per cent of FS graduates are employed within three months after completing the programme.

The FT ranking is published annually and evaluates, among other things, career opportunities, diversity and the international orientation of research and teaching. The ranking, in which business schools from all over the world participate, is primarily based on information provided by graduates who completed a Master of Finance programme three years ago.

Master of Finance: Largest FS' Master's programme; at the Hamburg Campus from 2022

The Master of Finance (MoF) was the first master’s programme at Frankfurt School and is still its largest. The MoF is a member of the CFA® University Affiliation Programme, an academic partner of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and, since 2018, a partner of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association® (CAIA). From spring 2022, Frankfurt School will also offer a part-time MoF at its campus in Hamburg.

Top positions in rankings

In the World University Ranking of ShanghaiRanking, which was published in June, Frankfurt School ranked third among German universities for finance. In May, it came fifth in the Wirtschaftswoche university ranking of all German institutions for business administration, making it the best private business school in Germany. Frankfurt School also holds top positions in the CHE 2020/2021 ranking for bachelor's and master's programmes in German-speaking countries: In the bachelor's programmes, Frankfurt School achieves excellent ratings in eleven out of twelve categories; in the master's programmes in business administration, it earned top ratings in seven of eight categories. FOCUS Business magazine (2021) rated Frankfurt School's executive education as "excellent". STERN magazine also singled out Frankfurt School's executive education as the best in Germany giving it five out of five stars.
