Personal Details

Dr. Nadine Ostern has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since November 2018 and is currently working at the ProcessLab of the Frankfurt School.
Before joining the Frankfurt School, Dr. Ostern worked as a research assistant and postdoc at the Technical University of Darmstadt in the Department of Business Information Technology. She received the academic degree of "Dr. rer. pol." during her 2-year activity at the Institute for Computer Science and Society at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg. In 2016 Dr. Ostern received a junior researcher award from the Albert-Ludwigs-University for her master thesis on "Determinants of Trust in Decentralized Payment Networks".
Dr. Ostern's research focuses on new technologies and digitization, especially the application of blockchain technology. In addition to theoretical-conceptual work, her focus lies on the application of construction-oriented research approaches ("Design Science Research").
