In order to improve data transfer and processing in the AI Lab, the central location for artificial intelligence and digital transformation at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Frankfurt School Alumni e.V. has supported the business school with €47,000. The donation aims to foster a modern education that prepares students to handle huge amounts of data successfully.

"The promotion of our alma mater is a central function of the Frankfurt School Alumni Association and is laid down in our statutes. Thus, we continually promote the equipment of the business school and support the students with scholarships," emphasised Oliver Kopp, Chairman of the Association and graduate of the university.

Artificial intelligence and data management: promoting future-oriented field

Another role of the Alumni Association is to support state-of-the-art education at Frankfurt School. "The AI Lab is a playground for everyone concerned with artificial intelligence and the handling of large amounts of data. With its courses and equipment, the Frankfurt School addresses current developments in society and the economy - which is why we, as alumni of the university, want to help in this future-oriented field," explained Oliver Kopp, Head of Customer and Product Management at DZ Bank.

Besides networking with current and former students of Frankfurt School, the association´s aim is to promote science and teaching at the business school. Furthermore, the board of directors wants to make the association more famous. "We want to inspire students for our association - membership is free of charge for every student during their studies. We offer a great network," says Kopp.

"The renewed support from the Frankfurt School Alumni Association shows that our alumni live the FS Spirit and thus actively promote university life - we would like to express our sincere thanks for this. The commitment helps our university to be one of the leading business schools in Germany and to stand for impact, science and excellence", said Angelika Werner, Vice President Strategic Relations and responsible for alumni work at the business school.
